Portsmouth, N.H. – (October 29, 2019) – Validation Institute, an independent, objective, 3rd party organization focused on changing health care, is pleased to announce that its board of directors has appointed Benny DiCecca as president.

“We are thrilled to welcome Benny DiCecca to Validation Institute. His entrepreneurial leadership and track record of accelerating the growth of organizations into market leaders is unparalleled,” said RD Whitney, CEO, Validation Institute. “We have selected a visionary to join our team at a time when Validation Institute is poised to change the face of how employers purchase and deliver health care benefits to the workforce in this country.”

DiCecca joins Validation Institute following 18 years at Wellesley Information Services (WIS), serving mostly recently as CEO for 11 years and previously as president/COO. Benny led WIS through explosive growth, building an events business organically from one to 35 events and taking it from $0 to $40M+ in his first five years. Under his guidance, WIS pivoted from traditional publishing into a marketing services powerhouse building over 100 domestic and international events annually, as well as launching an expansive array of successful products delivering research and market data that connected the world’s largest technology companies to Global 1000 businesses.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to join Validation Institute at a time when health care benefits have hit a crisis point,” said DiCecca. “The health care industry is at a critical juncture and my goal is to further Validation Institute’s mission of delivering transparency, improving health care quality and costs, and empowering employers and advisors to make better informed decisions.”
