The Validation Institute has so far never published unfavorable commentary about specific unvalidated companies. We thought our threshold for writing such commentary was impossibly high…and yet somehow Aon has exceeded it. Not once. Not twice. Not three times. But now four times.
We refer you to the esteemed Health Care Blog, the most widely read blog in the field, for the article Seriously, Aon, You Think Weight Loss Drugs Save Money? This posting also references the previous three as well.
You might ask: “Can’t Aon sue you because you didn’t give them a chance to respond?” Aon was given a chance to respond to the other three, as you will notice if you click though…but elected not to.
In fact, their chief actuary got so tired of me asking him to respond that he blocked me, thus making it impossible for him to sue me or Validation Institute. It’s the doctrine of estoppel, which prevents a person from asserting a claim or right that contradicts their previous actions, statements, or conduct. The classic example is that you can’t murder your parents and then ask the court for sympathy because you’re an orphan. In this case, Aon prevented me from reaching them, so they can’t complain I didn’t reach them.
