Health Value Award categories cover the entire health care spectrum – from recognizing the highest performing vendors and tools to honoring standout employer benefits. Whatever your niche, there’s a Health Value Award category for you. Our categories mirror the ecosystem of our online health care directory, eXchange, and reflect the way in which employers would search for vendors and services.
Before submitting your awards application, please review the award tracks, categories, and definitions to ensure you’re applying under the most appropriate category for your services.
Validation Institute is all about recognizing high-value, high-performance health care programs. All program applications in the Peer-Reviewed categories undergo an independent, detailed analysis conducted by a team of data scientists to verify the performance/results claims for the program. This qualification process mirrors our Validation Process, but does not equal a formal Program Validation. Programs that pass this peer review step are considered finalists for a Health Value Award and are then passed on to our panel of judges.
All applications must be received by December 15, 2019 and must include the appropriate peer review data in order for the application to be considered complete.
Application fees to cover the cost of peer review and administration do apply to these award categories and are listed below. We encourage you to apply early as the fee increases monthly.

These award categories primarily highlight employer initiatives that demonstrate high-value outcomes to their employees, but some categories extend to healthcare vendors/services that wouldn’t be appropriately evaluated under the constraints of the peer review process (promising start-ups with limited data, for example). Entrants still undergo a thorough assessment by our judges panel.
There is no application fee for non-peer-reviewed award submissions.
